This day is about your love, you are going to cherish this memory! This is a timeless picture of you both before your wedding. Here are a few simple guidelines to make this moment last forever.
Wear coordinating, but not matching, attire. Pick two colors that go well together. Keep a neutral color scheme while not using basic black or white. Neutral colors photograph well. Think of your home’s colors, and how your photo will complete the look when it is displayed. Layers are a great way to add some dimension as well as coordination. You can go all out in these pictures, or keep it casual. I want you to feel comfortable and carefree as we are getting candid pictures of you.
Bring your clothes to the shoot. If you wear your clothes beforehand they may crease and you want to look fresh and crease free. There is no ironing board on site, so make sure your crepe and similar fabric clothes stay looking good by not wearing them beforehand.
You want to look timeless. Avoid wearing neon colors, or tight patterns like stripes that are too close. Avoid slicked back hair or pony tails. Also avoid wearing items that have a logo or brand name on the front. These things do no photograph well.
Bring your make-up along. You may need to touch it up. Make-up is made for photography; it brightens up your features. You may want to go all out and get your hair and make-up done before the shoot, but that is up to you.
Bring some comfortable shoes along. You don’t want to walk up a hill in heels or awkward dress shoes so bring some comfortable shoes with you.
